Puppy Questionnaire

Placing our puppies in the "right home" is our goal not only for you but for the puppies we have home raised with love. When you purchase a puppy/dog, you are entering into a long term commitment. We want that choice to meet your expectations and provide you with a puppy/dog that is compatible with your lifestyle and provide you with a lifetime of love and joy. Puppy Reservation

Once your e-mail has been received, we will review your application. Once approved, you will be contacted by email or phone. At that time, your deposit may be placed and we will add you to our reservation list.

There are a lot of factors that can affect the wait time such as people cancelling, or passing on a certain puppy thereby making a spot available for someone with more flexibility in gender, colour, and size. Litter sizes will also have a big impact on how fast we work through the waitlist. Some things are beyond our control such as one of our ladies having very few puppies or sometimes not getting pregnant at all. We are working with nature and there is no guarantee that you will be able to get a puppy from a specific upcoming litter. We work down the reservation list in the order that we receive the deposits.
As part of this application, we ask that you agree to the following statements & conditions:
I understand that purchasing a puppy is a 12-15 year commitment.
If for any reason I can no longer keep my dog, one condition of sale, is that I must first contact Hillset Kennel (HK) to discuss options for rehoming and HK must be given the option of taking the dog back. HK is happy to work with owners if they have a home in mind, but we never want to see one of our puppies end up in a shelter.

I understand that all of HK's puppies will be temperament tested and will be assigned to the family that is the best possible match by HK. I understand that while the physical traits selected on this puppy matching form will be taken into consideration, the puppies will be matched based on personalities and the lifestyle needs of each family.

I understand that HK reserves the right to hold back potential breeding dogs that exhibit the traits needed to enhance the breeds and our program.

I understand that all of Hillset Kennel's puppies are sent home on a strict spay/neuter contract. Baldonnel Lane requires this procedure to be performed by the puppy's 6 month birthday. This is non-negotiable.

I acknowledge that Hillset Kennel has the right to refuse to sell to me at any time.
I understand that once my puppy application form is approved, I will be asked to submit a $300 deposit to hold my placement on the Reservation List. I further understand that the deposit will be applied towards the total price of my Reserved puppy, and is non-refundable unless we determine that we cannot meet your requests.
